<p>Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, highly challenging <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Hydrogeologist with a consultancy background , </strong> having experience in groundwater control industry, then you are the one we are looking for?</p><p><br></p><p>Interpreting technical data and information to build a conceptual model of groundwater flow and quality in order to verify groundwater control system design.</p><p><br></p><p>Provide technical support and expertise to the estimation, sales and operational teams from design stage through to project execution.</p><p><br></p><p>Use of modelling techniques to enable predictions to be made about future trends and impacts on groundwater flow and quality.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Estimate quantity of groundwater extraction required in order to validate a dewatering system design, in line with project requirements, in order to recommend a cost effective groundwater control system solution.</li><li>Provide technical support and expertise to the estimation, sales and operational teams from design stage through to project execution.</li><li>Develop, perform, analyze and present numerical ground water control models based on</li></ul><p><br></p><ol><li>Project Soil Investigation Report</li><li>Contract drawings and specifications</li><li>Insitu permeability tests (pumping tests, slug tests)</li><li>Project timelines / construction schedules</li></ol><p><br></p><ul><li>Design, conduct and analyze groundwater hydraulic tests (Slug Test, Pumping Test) for the purpose of enhancing the company’s engineered solution to groundwater control activities.</li><li>Make recommendation as to water quality and treatment procedures when required.</li><li>Applying a knowledge of fundamental geology to develop an understanding of how the rock types and structure in an area impact on groundwater occurrence and movement;</li><li>Understanding and interpreting maps, geographical data, historical evidence and models to build a conceptual model of groundwater flow and quality</li><li>Using computer software to model groundwater flow, according to geological formations, surface water flow and man-made influence;</li><li>Undertaking field work and site visits for investigative and monitoring purposes;</li><li>Undertaking environment impact assessments of groundwater abstraction and management activities;</li><li>Analyzing collected information to assess and/or predict the impact of temporary groundwater control activities on groundwater quality and resource availability;</li><li>Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and keeping up to date with technological and legislative developments;</li><li>Generation of project specific reports, where required, to convey the required information to the appropriate target audience in a concise and professional manner.</li><li>Participate in meetings with clients regarding project progression and performance on site, as and when required·</li><li>Maintain good working relationship with all parties at all levels at all times when representing the Company, Sub-Contractors, Staff and third parties.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education / Skills / Knowledge</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Degree in Science or Natural Resources, majoring in Hydrogeology, or Engineering majoring in Water Resources or equivalent from an internationally recognized University.</li><li>Master’s Degree in Hydrogeology would be advantageous.</li><li>A minimum of 4+ years of related work experience with a <strong>consultancy background. </strong></li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>Modflow software</strong> or equivalent.</li><li>Sound knowledge of the principles of hydrogeology, and experience in the application of hydrogeological techniques.</li><li>Experience in Technical Report writing.</li><li>Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.</li><li>Experience in project management with an emphasis on working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and managing, assessing and reviewing work of other staff, consultants and contractors;</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft applications.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Location: Neom, Saudi </strong></p><p><strong>Type of Employment:</strong> Permanent / Full time</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> SAR 11,000 – SAR 16,000 (negotiable for highly experienced candidates)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you can expect from the employer</strong></p><p>An attractive tax-free salary.</p><p>Paid annual vacation.</p><p>6 days a week.</p><p>Health insurance.</p><p>A clean and hygienic environment.</p><p>Working with decent / highly educated professional team.</p><p>Food / transportation / accommodation provided at the location.</p>
