<strong>Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p>This role is required to regulate Early Childhood through grade 12 schools (EC12) and oversee licensure, accountability of law and quality control. Furthermore, this role will help to ensure that EC12 institutions operate with the highest level of quality through regulations, standards, and best practices.<p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Support NEOM Authority in building and maintaining a high-performance culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li><li> Coordinate with all relevant NEOM Departments to ensure NEOM meets its regulatory obligations.</li><li> Lead engagement with the NEOM Authority in relation to development matters, and the preparation of education development-related regulations and standards.</li><li> Benchmark the global best practice for new and innovative technology and techniques for license and accreditation processes.</li><li> Supervise the Licensing process ensuring transparency and high standards are upheld.</li><li> Approve and contribute to addressing more complex inquiries related to approvals/authorization.</li><li> Create a process for handling any complaints or appeals fairly and efficiently.</li><li> Provide accurate information and contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports for executive-level and other stakeholders.</li><li> Maintain accurate and timely records and systems necessary to ensure the efficient flow of work and reporting of licensing and accreditation activities.</li><li> Contribute to initiatives to identify and progress opportunities to improve service delivery, facilitate stakeholder confidence and optimize compliance with all standards of accreditation</li><li> Understand the market dynamics and trends through market research and collect issues and challenges to ensure excessive opportunities for business growth and adjust the practices accordingly.</li><li> Support the Board, the subcommittees and the advisory Board’s processes and activities.</li><li> Prepare various presentations and analyses requested by the Board.</li><li> Prepare Board committees and maintain a log of decisions and actions lists</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, And Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.</li><li> Experience engaging with government regulators.</li><li> Extensive experience working in both educational assessment and compliance, under advanced regulatory regimes.</li><li> Understanding of the policy and regulatory process, the ability to proactively create opportunities and strategies.</li><li> Ability to make sound and quick decisions in a fast-paced dynamic setting.</li><li> Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.</li><li> Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills.</li><li> Master’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field from an accredited University.</li><li> Knowledge of English language is required and Arabic language is a plus.</li></ul>
