<strong>Position: </strong> Senior Development Manager<p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong> : Nature Reserve<p><br></p><strong> Sector: </strong> Nature Reserve<p><br></p><strong> Job Location: </strong> Sharma, NEOM<p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose: </strong><p><br></p>A senior development manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. They are responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. The senior development manager must have excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and project management skills.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Project planning: developing project plans that outline the scope, timelines, and budget for each project.</li><li> Resource management: ensuring that the necessary resources are available to complete each project on time and within budget.</li><li> Risk management: identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.</li><li> Stakeholder management: building strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other team members.</li><li> Budget management: managing project budgets and ensuring that costs are kept under control.</li><li> Quality control: ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards.</li><li> Team leadership: leading project teams and providing guidance and support as needed.</li><li> Reporting: providing regular reports to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.</li><li> Continuous improvement: identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures and implementing changes as needed.</li><li> Development management of a wide variety of consultants including master planners, architects, engineers, environmental and conservation specialists, and all other related stakeholders.</li><li> Production of high-quality presentations packs and reporting as required for both internal and external audiences.</li><li> Management of feasibility reports and cashflow forecasts aligned to business model.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team </li><li> Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams </li><li> Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies </li><li> Technical expertise in software development packages including Microsoft and MS Projects, Estate Master </li><li> Experience in cloud-based technologies preferred. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> EXPERIENCE: </strong><p><br></p>The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in development management and or project management with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. They should have experience managing large-scale projects from planning through implementation.<p><br></p>Ideally some experience working within the Middle East.<p><br></p>Experience ideally working sympathetically with the environment and deploying sustainable solutions.<p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p>A relevant bachelor’s degree in development / project management or related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Certifications in project management or agile methodologies are also preferred.
