</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> The purpose of the Senior Specialist Traffic and Heavy Lift role is to identify, source and manage resources as per the requirement. </li><li> Review the proposals for all heavy lift cargo, including its storage, transportation, marine services resource allocation and negotiations. </li><li> Ensure all the Heavy lift, Marine and transportation services are executed as per the standard operating procedures in place, safety standards and agreed Terms and conditions. </li><li> Manage operations of all Ad hoc cargo requests by dimensioning resources, capacity, potential clashes </li><li> Manage the usage of the Marshaling area and its operations to support all GC and heavy lift demand </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><strong> KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Responsible to guarantee full deployment of safety and operational procedures in the Marshalling area. </li><li> Guarantee a smooth coordination between Marshaling area and Port operations to secure a consistent truck / cargo flow without traffic congestions. </li><li> Assist commercial by assessing the cargo handling requests from the equipment, personnel, know-how, lifting gears, yard space and transportation’s standpoints. </li><li> Responsible to manage all heavy lift operation activities at Port. </li><li> Responsible to handle heavy lift/haulage/barge projects with following activities. </li><li> Develops and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all the site activities involved in the project. </li><li> Leading the project team and coordinating the project – reviewing the third-party proposal and agreement. </li><li> Implementing the agreed action plan to the agreed standard and deadline </li><li> Produce the operations plan for the third party /internal and to ensure it is followed and meet the requirement. </li><li> Coordinate with all matters related to project content. </li><li> Ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and production of all the necessary documentation. </li><li> Taking responsibility for the effective flow of information between team members in project activities </li><li> Submission of the result to the management with complete backups </li><li> Responsible to track project changes and produce updates site based as agreed with customer. </li><li> Responsible to review and coordinate the engineering documents between the engineering and third part to ensure the documents are as per the standard. </li><li> Ensure the Method statement is followed by operation at site. </li><li> Compile summary documents e.g., designing, Planning and executing project collect and distribute to team members. </li><li> Ensure completion and timely delivery of the projects within the budget </li><li> Coordination for the mobilization and de-mobilization of the equipment to/from Site (Crane-SPMT -barge and tugs etc.) </li><li> Project operating budgets, Contracts and variation management and claim management. </li><li> Providing support to commercial by designing work methodology and Sub-contractor Pricing </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills & Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 05 years of Heavy lift and Heavy Haulage industry. </li><li> Functional/general expertise in port operations as well as broad management skills. </li><li> Strong communication skills including ability to communicate across the organization and stakeholders effectively. </li><li> Excellent analytical skills </li><li> Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills </li><li> Fluent in English. </li><li> Fluent in Arabic </li><li> Fluency in Urdu, Hindi or/and Pushto is a plus. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> University degree
