from the pre-bid stage to project execution.</li><li>Responsible for the timely preparations of legal and contractual documents such as Request for Proposal (RFP) and other legal or contractual, or tender packages as required</li><li>Leads the team to carry out the pre-award activities, including pre-award schedules, provides advertisement for tenders, participates in the pre-award meetings, and evaluates and negotiates a bid.</li><li>Advises on contractual matters at the project level about the strategy for and the conduct and recording of contract pre-award negotiations.</li><li>Manages the administration of the construction contract and timely issuance of notifications, monitoring of milestones, and payment in cooperation with the project team.</li><li>Manage and supervise monitoring, drafting, and reviewing all contractual correspondence.</li><li>Verifying that all insurances and guarantees required are in place and maintained.</li><li>Manage and supervise carrying out contractual change management processes but not limited to drafting and review of change orders, claims, back charges, penalties, and defense of incoming claims.</li><li>Manage and supervise preparing, drafting, and managing notices, Contract Risk Registers, Claims, and Compensation events logs.</li><li>Coordinate and liaison with the technical, finance, legal, and project team and Clients to mitigate and/or resolve possible disputes.</li><li>Manage and supervise reviewing contractual notices of claims and providing contractual advice to Engineering in their administration of the Construction Contract.</li><li>Leads the team in drafting commercial terms for design engineering and/or construction services for approval by the Project Director and the Client.</li><li>Facilitate the preparation of Contract change and prepare the relevant variation orders.</li><li>Facilitate the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with before final payment to the Contractor.</li><li>Ensure that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained</li><li>Advises and manages all contractual matters.</li><li><span>Advises and manages</span> reviewing the Contractor’s claims according to the Conditions of the Contract and ensure the Client’s interests are protected.</li><li><span>Advises and manages</span> the Estimation and Project Control teams in respect of contractual implications of change orders.</li><li><span>Advises and manages to prepare</span> and maintain the Engineer’s Instructions, Variation Orders, and Claim Logs.</li><li>Familiarise himself with the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures .compliance with these requirements.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the line company General Manager</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Additional Responsibilities</u></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Schedule delay costs</li><li>Calculation of escalated material and/or labor costs</li><li>Extended General Conditions and Requirements Analysis</li><li>Analysis of unabsorbed home office overhead</li><li>Review and organization of project documents</li><li>Development of work product, draft memos, presentations, and reports</li><li>Travel as needed to project sites and client offices</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Performance Expectations</u></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead and develop teams of Consultants and Senior Consultants.</li><li>Review and redraft (if required) the work product of Consultants and Senior Consultants to ensure quality.</li><li>Develop innovative methods to provide a work product and present findings to the engagement lead.</li><li>Generate work product for internal and client reviews</li><li>Develop and deliver findings to clients</li><li>Represent Resolve International at client meetings as necessary</li><li>Pursue professional development initiatives and industry certifications</li><li>Attend industry events and build a network of potential clients</li><li>Conduct business visits for the company’s regional offices (when required) – Special allowances shall be provided in such a case.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Qualifications</u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Civil or Architectural or Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.</li><li>Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience.</li><li>Membership in RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is desirable.</li><li>Strong background and understanding of FIDIC forms of Contract, particularly design &amp; build.</li><li>Knowledgeable in all contractual &amp; legal matters relevant to the industry, including claim management.</li><li>Great leadership and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English.</li></ul>
