<strong>Overview<br><br></strong>Presight AI is seeking a proficient, experienced and hands-on Lead Engineer to manage our team of Engineers across a project/s. You will work with product owners to design & implement cutting-edge features that meet business and technical requirements.<br><br><em>Functional<br></em><ul><li>Lead, develop, motivate and retain a team of highly skilled engineers, responsible for the success of the team.</li><li>Develop and maintain a successful working relationship and contribute to the Project team.</li><li>Complete technical designs, as required, and ensure they provide a detailed view of the solution & solution ecosystem to allow for easy implementation and smooth upgradation when business & technical needs change.</li><li>Decompose abstract business features into associated stories for the product owner and their teams to implement using agile delivery.</li><li>Apply DevOps techniques to deliver code quickly and securely in a cloud-based environment.</li><li>Work with team members to define and implement test & automation plans using techniques like test driven development.</li><li>Ensure performance metrics are maintained and performance SLAs are met, including designing and implementing performance test automation.</li><li>Take charge of monitoring and observing of systems, including monitoring for abnormalities and alerting.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of existing codebase by participating in code reviews, refactoring legacy code, and measuring code coverage & performance.</li><li>Collaborate with UX designers and front-end developers to ensure seamless flow and interaction.</li><li>Ensure all documentation is up to date to support teams and systems including designs, run books and developer guides.</li><li>Stay up to date with relevant technologies and software development trends.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills And Attributes For Success<br><br></strong>The yardsticks of your performance would include cost savings achieved, reduction in productivity loss, number of solutions & processes optimized, number of defect free tasks, adherence to policies, procedures & quality standards, and customer NPS.<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>To qualify, you must have<br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in backend services, design patterns and software engineering</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in cloud hosted infrastructure & technologies in an AI service organization or the analytics industry</li><li>Prior people management experience and passion for leading/developing teams<br><br></li></ul><strong>Ideally, you’ll also need<br></strong><ul><li>In-depth market and domain knowledge</li><li>A passion for constant improvement</li><li>An innovative and creative approach to problem-solving</li><li>Excellent communication skills<br><br></li></ul><strong>What we look for:<br><br></strong>If you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adapt to ambiguity, you will fit right in.
