We offer quality F&B experiences and put customer satisfaction first.<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Always ensure personal hygiene with a smart & clean appearance in the correct uniform</li><li>Delight the customer by providing quality and timely prepared foods</li><li>Prepare and cook food items while ensuring all recipe standards are followed</li><li>Ensure only approved ingredients are used</li><li>Plate and garnish dishes as per set presentation standards and portion control</li><li>Notify Expediter / Servers / food runners of completed orders</li><li>Follow sanitation guidelines and comply with all health, safety, food hygiene and employment legislation as trained</li><li>To work towards high scores in all inspections and audits</li><li>Make requisitions / purchase requests as per expected consumption levels</li><li>De-box, label, store and rotate food as per set rules and regulations, using FIFO</li><li>Practice cost-cutting measures</li><li>Process and manage food tickets</li><li>Track food quality and ensure its up to the highest standard</li><li>Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers</li><li>Perform assigned opening, operational and closing procedures</li><li>Co-operate with managers and supervisors and follow their direction</li></ul> Qualifications<p><br></p><ul><li>Basic or Intermediate food hygiene certificate</li><li>Experience of working in a high volume branded kitchen environment</li><li>High School Degree and minimum 3 years’ experience as a cook within an up-market food and beverage environment</li></ul><p><br></p>Additional Information<p><br></p>Delight our guest by cooking quality dishes within set time standards, as per our recipes with approved ingredients only while adhering to strict food hygiene and safety standards.
