<p>House of Shipping provides business consultancy and advisory services for Shipping &amp; Logistics companies. House of Shipping’s commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.</p><p><br></p><p>Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for a Sales Executive on behalf of its client Container Conversion Company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job purpose </strong></p><p><br></p><p>To bring business and business leads from marine/ oil &amp; gas / Offshore industries. Convert prospective business leads to an active sale.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Bringing business to the company.</p><p>Taking brief during the discussion with the client.</p><p>Prepare a sketch of the client’s requirement and be explained to the engineering dept for preparing drawing and estimation.</p><p>Liaise with draftsman and estimator for clarifying doubts on technical matters.</p><p>Quotation to be prepared and sent to the client along with drawings.</p><p>Follow up with Clients and take all the steps to convert the enquiry to confirmed order.</p><p>LPO and advance payment are to be collected for the confirmed orders.</p><p>Production schedule prepared by the Engg. department to be shared with the Client and progress status to be updated regularly.</p><p>The client is to be invited for a final inspection before dispatch from the yard.</p><p>Payment follow-up and payment collections are to be initiated as per the terms of payment.</p><p>Collect feedback from Clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Background and experience</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Minimum 5 years experience in the Sales field</p><p>UAE experience is preferred</p><p>Experience in Container conversion field (Optional)</p><p>UAE Driver license</p>
