Job Description

<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:<br></strong>• Manage a team composed of maintainers and technicians.<br>• Monitor the activity of the department employees, support and help them achieve the goals set.<br>• Be responsible for respecting the safety rules in the team.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:<br></strong>• Coordinate the work of the team (plan priorities, optimize the adequacy of needs and resources, training, manageconflicts and motivate the team).<br>• Inform and communicate (create and maintain relationships with team, relaying and disseminating information, givingmeaning and explaining the decisions or solutions made).<br>• Support and listen (answer the questions asked and inform their line manager, create and maintain a climate of trustwithin the team, support their team and promote know-how).<br>• Monitor and control the activity involving the agents in the analysis of results and identify corrective actions.<br>• Planning, Scheduling and implementing Preventive and corrective Maintenance programs.<br>• On-site technical activities coordination (Work permit, access, support …).<br>• Conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations.<br>• Maintain the Centralized Control sub systems and provide recommendations for upgrades / enhancements.<br>• Ensure reliability and security of the information system.<br>• Search all useful information in the event of a reported or unreported damage.<br>• Reporting and ensuring traceability (informing all those concerned, writing reports).<br>• Manage the site and logistics (keep documentation up to date, manage stocks, take corrective or preventive actions).<br>• Monitor and analyse the behaviour of Centralized control system components (anomalies or damage, etc.), operatingconditions.<br>• Undertake any other duties as assigned.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE &amp; EXPERIENCE<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br></strong>• Degree in electrical or electronics and communication engineering.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>KNOWLEDGE:<br></strong>• Low current systems maintenance.<br>• Electricity, communications, electronics.<br>• Troubleshooting methods.<br>• Team Management.<br>• Safety management.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>EXPERIENCE:<br></strong>• Fresh graduate or relevant experience in Railway industry is preferred.<br>• Centralized control ATS&amp; SCADA maintenance environment is preferred.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>DESIRED BEHAVIORS:<br></strong>• Management skills.<br>• Ability to communicate with staff of all levels.<br>• Ability to supervise and control.<br>• Possess analytical and critical ability.<br>• Possess leadership quality.<br>• Negotiation and decision-making ability.<br>• Innovative, creative and strategic thinking.<br>• Possess self-drive and enthusiasm.<br>• Problem solving ability.<br>• English – fluent in speaking, reading and Arabic will be nice.<br><br></p>
