<p><strong>About The Position</strong></p><p>We need a culinary superstar to <strong>win customers and convert them to our diversified foodservice portfolio in Ghezaa</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We’re looking for someone with experience cooking professionally – this doesn’t necessarily mean fancy Michelin, but we are looking for high level culinary skills. You’ll bring skills, creativity and knowledge of food which can inspire and educate our team and our customers. You’ll earn their trust because of this extensive and valuable experience.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Culinary Corporate Chef, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business by providing culinary expertise, developing new product offerings, conducting training sessions, and building strong relationships with our horeca customers. You will be responsible for elevating our culinary offerings and supporting the growth of our customer base.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a role for someone with passion not only for being in the kitchen, but also for communicating culinary knowledge. You’ll be just as comfortable leading a product demonstration to a retail buying team – or a training session with our own team.</p><p> </p><p>Experience of contemporary food styling is a must!</p><p> </p><p>You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most exciting food businesses in the world – our customers. These include major supermarkets, global food service leaders and high street household names. You’ll be responsible for working together with their development teams to create magic with our portfolio. You’ll also lead the charge in keeping our full team at the cutting edge of all things culinary. We’re serious about knowing our products inside and out, and you will be responsible for making sure were the best in the business in terms of culinary knowledge and training.</p><p> </p><p>In short, this is a career defining role for someone with solid food experience who wants to drive the culinary agenda of a progressive and entrepreneurial organization.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Meet customers daily to convert them to our portfolio of products.</li><li>Be the culinary and technical expert in our full retail and food service portfolio.</li><li>Support our customers development team with culinary showcases for our customers.</li><li>Provide customer technical support and developing products solutions.</li><li>Support (and deliver) compelling culinary content for all our advertising – which will include appearing in social media videos and tutorials.</li><li>Support our technical teams in the testing of products functionality and claims.</li><li>Create and modify recipes using our product portfolio to showcase the versatility and quality of our ingredients and products.</li><li>Conduct research and stay updated on emerging food trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to bring innovation and creativity to our product offerings.</li><li>Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and develop customized culinary solutions to meet their requirements.</li><li>Provide training and support to our sales team and horeca customers on product knowledge, culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with horeca customers, chefs, and culinary influencers, acting as a trusted advisor and culinary resource.</li><li>Support customer menu development by providing culinary consultation, creating signature dishes, and suggesting menu enhancements to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.</li><li>Represent the company at culinary events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our brand and establish ourselves as a culinary leader in the horeca distribution industry.</li></ul><p><strong>Key interfaces</strong></p><ul><li>Retail and food Service Marketing and Sales teams</li><li>Customer Development teams – and our customers</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skills & Experience</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Corporate Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role in the horeca industry.</li><li>Strong culinary skills and in-depth knowledge of various cuisines, culinary techniques, and food presentation.</li><li>Excellent understanding of horeca customer needs, menu development, and culinary trends in the foodservice industry.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present culinary concepts, train others, and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.</li><li>Technical experience in developing tailored product solutions.</li><li>Experience leading culinary training sessions with qualified cooks & chefs.</li><li>Experience in recipe development and food showcases to major customers.</li><li>Experience in plant-based cooking is desirable.</li><li>Highly developed skills in sweet and savory baking.</li><li>Contemporary food styling experience.</li><li>Extensive network in Egypt market and preferably in the GCC.</li><li>Flexibility to travel to customer locations, culinary events, and industry conferences as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s Next</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The deadline to apply for this position is June 2nd 2023.
