As a consultant, you will be an integral member of the EMEA Forensics practice. The role will require you to exhibit technical excellence and an ability to build relationships and revenue for the practice, to assist Control Risks in significantly growing the business.<br><br><strong><u>Role &amp; Task Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Contribute to the delivery of investigations and other forensic projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa</li><li>Develop technical expertise in conducting investigations into financial and non-financial misconduct</li><li>Review and collate evidence sources for consideration as part of investigations</li><li>Support senior members of the Forensics practice in business development activities</li><li>Collaborate with other members of the Forensics practice and the wider firm to build Control Risks’ brand and reputation in the market<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br><br></u></strong>Essential<br><ul><li>Experience delivering Forensic projects, ideally in the Middle East and the wider EMEA region</li><li>Knowledge of fraud, corruption and bribery investigation techniques and procedures</li><li>Knowledge of FCPA, UK Bribery Act and other relevant legislation</li><li>Experience preparing reports and other work products in English language for local and overseas clients</li><li>Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to write concisely and authoritatively under deadlines, while interacting with colleagues and clients in challenging situations</li><li>Ability to understand, summarise and present large quantities of information<br></li></ul><strong><u>Preferred<br></u></strong><ul><li>Language capabilities (the ability to speak, read and analyse documents in French or Arabic would be preferred)</li><li>Knowledge or experience of accounting<br></li></ul><strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline</li><li>Excellent verbal and written English<br></li></ul>Competencies<br><ul><li>Plans and organises own workload, prioritising when necessary</li><li>Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Takes responsibility to analyse a situation to provide and/or escalate the solution</li><li>Is comfortable with change, adapts well to changing demands and maintains a positive attitude</li><li>Shows initiative in work, contributing new solutions or ways of doing things</li><li>Commits and delivers on what is required and strives to exceed expectations</li><li>Shows drive and determination to achieve high standards</li><li>Uses own knowledge and experience to make sound judgements</li><li>Responds to clients positively and is flexible to provide the best possible service</li><li>Works with colleagues in a co-operative and supportive manner to achieve aims</li><li>Shows understanding and awareness of personal impact<br></li></ul><strong><u>Benefits<br></u></strong><ul><li>Control Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarised in the full job offer.</li><li>Private medical insurance</li><li>We operate a discretionary global bonus schemes that incentivises, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance</li><li>Control Risks support hybrid working arrangement, whenever possible, that emphasizes the value of in-person time together – in the office and with our clients – while continuing to support flexible and remote working.</li><li>Compulsory monthly employer contributions to the DIFC Employment Workplace Saving Scheme </li><li>As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.</li></ul>
