Field Service Supervisor – Compressor
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to assist the team in the maintenance & commissioning of multiple Compressors across the Middle East, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.<br><br>Job Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSE policies and guidelines.</li><li>Provide updates on the general safety on the site or other work location and if appropriate make recommendations to improve safety and/or takes corrective actions to bring safety to the minimum standard.</li><li>Assist in ensuring the Company meets its contractual obligations to the customer on time, within budget, safely and to the highest standard.</li><li>Manage the field service team on major outages when required.</li><li>Assist in the installation, commissioning, converting, repairing and general maintenance of machines and installations in accordance with regulations and verbal/written instruction.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and for quality control.</li><li>Liaise with the Field Service Team on job progress and provide feedback on project execution.</li><li>Any other reasonable duties as directed by management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills / Knowledge<br></strong><ul><li>Good communication skills plus good command of the English language both spoken and written.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.</li><li>Professional conduct.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience<br></strong><ul><li>Track record working in a service environment on critical machinery.</li><li>Experience in the operation, assembly, disassembly and installation of rotating machinery.</li><li>Demonstrable working experience in a similar power or process industry environment.</li><li>Technical turbomachinery background in a production or field service role.</li><li>Experience with turbo machinery and willing to learn all aspects required for a Field Service Engineer.</li><li>Exposure to the following would be advantageous; Dry gas seal exchanges Wet Seal exchanges Centrifugal compressors Screw compressors Reciprocating Compressors<br><br></li></ul>Education Requirements<br><ul><li>Degree or Equivalent<br><br></li></ul>Physical Requirements<br><ul><li>The ability to travel internationally is required.
