<p>Our client is looking for an experienced <span>Vice President of Research and Development</span> located in KSA, Qatar, or the UAE. As we continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as the Vice President of Research and Development (VP R&D).</p><p> </p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Develop and implement the overall R&D strategy and vision, aligned with the company’s business objectives and industry trends.</li><li>Lead a diverse team of researchers, scientists, and engineers to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.</li><li>Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies and market trends, determining their value and potential applications within our organization.</li><li>Foster strong relationships with external partners, including research institutions, industry experts, suppliers, and customers.</li><li>Ensure effective communication of R&D successes, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and other stakeholders.</li><li>Develop and manage the annual R&D budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to key projects and initiatives.</li><li>Implement processes and metrics to assess the performance and efficiency of the R&D team and projects.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing innovation.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Requirements:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Science, or a related field.</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li><li>Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary research and development projects.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and commercialize innovative technologies.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Experience working in a global, multicultural organization is considered an asset.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><span>Disclaimer: HAX consulting or the poster of the job are not in control of the hiring process for this role, the job owner (partner) is in charge of the hiring process and will shortlist the ideal candidate accordingly.</span></p>
