The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for merchandising, developing offers and managing the purchasing and selling plans for multiple brands and working with other teams to plan the promotions, pricing, and content development for the category.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Own the assigned categories as a business, including their strategy, direction and execution. Grow the product selection based on customer and market research.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to enhance competitiveness of the assigned category. Lead negotiations with vendors, domestic and international, and facilitate discussion to drive significant top and bottom line results.</li><li>Ensure proper stock levels and prepare buying plans and sales forecasts</li><li>Stay on top of coffee industry trends to drive product selection, sales and customer experience.</li><li>Analyze data using multiple reporting systems, make informed data-driven decisions regarding pricing, product selection, promotions, etc</li><li>Develop and maintain control over quality of product detail pages, including description and other content</li><li>Participate actively in marketing activities, including the preparation of content.
