<p><strong>Paid Internship opportunity</strong></p><p>Work Location: Unit 27, Alserkal Avenue, Alqouz 1</p><p>Pay: AED 2,000.00 per month</p><p>Working hours: 6 hours a day</p><p>Working days: 6 days a week</p><p>Duration: 3 months</p><p>Starting: 15 June 2023</p><p><br></p><p>Zawyeh Gallery in Dubai is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable person for the role of Gallery Assistant Intern. The ideal candidate must be organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and be interested in pursuing a career in the arts.</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for an intern to start on 15 June and commit to six days a week. We will work to accommodate your schedule to the best of our ability.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a great opportunity for a graduate or undergraduate student looking to gain hands-on experience in the art business.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Daily administrative tasks as assigned by the Gallery Manager</li><li>Creating and updating records as requested: contacts, inventory, artist imagery</li><li>Managing and maintaining the gallery’s online presence both on social media and on other dedicated platforms</li><li>Developing content for our communication platforms: email, social media, managing and growing our community of users, shaping our brand identity through email database, social media</li><li>Light art handling for installation and de-installation when required, as well as some packing for shipping duties.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Reliable and detail-oriented</li><li>Possesses strong written and oral communication skills</li><li>Art history, design, curatorial studies, or fine arts background required</li><li>Fluency with Mac platform and the Microsoft Office Suite is required</li><li>Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, photo editing, digital photography, video</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you believe to be a great candidate for this internship, please email your resume and cover letter (in PDF format only)</p><p>(subject line: “GALLERY INTERNSHIP”).</p><p>careers@zawyeh.net</p>
