<p><strong>AGCO Properties</strong> is seeking a skilled and committed Mortgage Agent to support our growing sales team.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a background in the Morgage or Real Estate Industry.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Meet with potential buyers to determine each client’s specific lending or refinance needs. </li><li>Acquiring new clients and assessing their needs according to their financial information.</li><li>Educate clients on various loan products, funding sources, buying or refinance processes, and lending guidelines by Analyzing and comparing different home loan options available to the client.</li><li>Educating clients on their legal and financial options and ensuring that they understand them.</li><li>Gather documents such as the applicant’s credit history, income and employment verification, assets and liabilities, and background check to determine creditworthiness.</li><li>Negotiating with banks and credit lenders to find the best loan solution for the client.</li><li>Submit application file to lenders in order to apply on the homeowners’ behalf.</li><li>Collaborate with the real estate agent, lender’s underwriting department, other mortgage professionals, and closing agent to ensure a smooth transaction.</li><li>Build referral relationships with real estate professionals and relationships with mortgage lenders/ mortgage bankers, maintain current lending rate sheets, and stay up to date on current mortgage industry trends.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with banking and financial legislation on the state and federal levels.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications </u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate law, banking, finance, business administration, or economics.</li><li>Must possess minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience.</li><li>Possess a strong understanding of mortgage products and loan process from origination to close.</li><li>Exceptional communications skills, time-management and analysis skills, numerical SKILLS, and independently resourceful</li><li>Advanced computer skills including MS Office, and loan origination software.</li><li>Expertise in personal finance and risk assessment.</li><li>Familiarity with banking and financial legislation and regulations.</li><li>Excellent sales and negotiation skills.</li><li>Keen understanding of mortgage underwriting procedures.</li><li>Be up to date on economic, product, and market trends.</li><li>Ability to build trust with clients, lenders, and real estate agents.</li></ul>
