Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

<p><span>We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and products for a variety of industries. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also supervise junior engineers and draftsmen to provide them with technical guidance and mentorship.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and products</li><li>Analyze engineering data to identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation for all products and systems</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget</li><li>Supervise junior engineers and draftsmen to provide them with technical guidance and mentorship</li><li>Develop and implement processes for product testing and quality control</li><li>Work with vendors and suppliers to source and evaluate new materials and components</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards</li><li>Participate in the development of new products and technologies</li><li>Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the mechanical services works for the contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and the consultant’s specification, good working practices, the construction schedule, and health &amp; safety.</li><li>Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and any other tests that may be required during the first implementation work and advise the Project Manager accordingly.</li><li>Review and comment on Contractor’s testing and commissioning results and advise Project Manager accordingly</li><li>Good writing report skills, and experience in making presentations to and attending client meetings.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Arabic speaker</strong></li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field</li><li>7 to 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, here in UAE.</li><li>Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, HAP cooling Load software, AASHT requirements.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, and Fire Fighting Design Expert</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as DDA, Tarakhees, Nakheel, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense,</li><li>Society of Engineers ( SOE-UAE) valid member</li><li>Preferably IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE</li></ul>
