Join us on this exciting journey and be part of building something special in the world of Fintech. </p><p> </p><p><strong>What does the Financial Controller role involve?</strong> </p><ul><li>Ownership of financial and management reports on business activity, and financial position. </li><li>Owning the accounting function, covering all areas of P&L and Balance Sheet </li><li>Preparing the monthly KPIs (financial and non-financial) and information for the Board and investors </li><li>Maintain cash flow forecasts to manage cash balances across multiple entities. </li><li>Creating and reporting the annual budgets to the ExCo </li><li>Preparing and submitting regulatory returns to the relevant authorities for each entity </li><li>Be the lead on internal and external audits including preparation of statutory accounts for IFRS </li><li>Preparation and submission of returns for global tax compliance including VAT </li><li>Running day-to-day accounting process in Xero and building out the associated MI suite </li><li>Management and reconciliation of large data sets including client money activity. </li><li>Bring insight into revenue growth, margin management, and commercial aspects of the business </li><li>Handling key supplier relationships and payments management across entities </li><li>HR: payroll, visa management, building out HR processes and practices, implementing an HR platform </li><li>Continuously look for process improvement and aim to automate as much of the accounting, </li><li>finance, HR, and process as possible. </li><li>Implementing best practices for controls, processes, and efficiency improvements.
