<strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> must be a US Citizen and able to be granted a Security Clearance** </li><li> this position is contingent upon contract award** </li></ul><p><br></p>MAG Aerospace is hiring for an <strong>AH-64D Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP)/Maintenance Evaluator (ME) </strong>to support the Kuwait Armed Forces (KAF) with their AH64D maintenance program while managing and enhancing their future of their AH64D maintenance test pilot training capabilities . The objective is to train, advise and assist the KAF’s Maintenance Test Pilots &amp; Maintenance Evaluators on their tasks, progression, and standards.<p><br></p>This position is full-time with rotations.<p><br></p>This is a flying position<p><br></p>The work location is Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Duties And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><strong> Duties include, but not limited to : </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Perform duties as a Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator; train, and mentor KAF MTPs, perform other maintenance tasks during MTP progressions, and evaluates KAF Maintenance Pilots </li><li> Provide training and mentorship for the KAF AH-64 Maintenance Test Pilot program. </li><li> Train and advises KAF on all aspects of AH-64D maintenance and logistics. </li><li> Advise and mentor already qualified KAF MTP’s on how to instruct new MTP candidates and perform the duties of a MTP maintenance evaluator (MTP/ME). </li><li> Formal courses of instruction include: Maintenance Pilot Courses – AH-64D Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) instruction and progression and mentorship on how to manage a maintenance program. </li><li> Conduct both flight &amp; classroom (formal and informal training) on AH-64D aircraft procedures. </li><li> Advise KAF Pilots on all aspects of AH-64D training, tactical operations, and qualifications. </li><li> Instruct KAF Pilots in developing effective aircraft training courses, maintenance test pilot training and other collective training programs to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). </li><li> Prepare and establish programs for the possible purchase or upgrade to the AH-64E. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Certifications/Qualifications/Experience</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Served in the U.S. Military. </li><li> Graduate of a U.S. Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course. </li><li> Previously qualified as an AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (ME). </li><li> Must have no less than 1,500 hours Rotary Wing time. </li><li> Must have no less than 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PC) time. </li><li> Must have no less than 300 hours PC time in the AH-64D/E. </li><li> Must have no less than 300 hours MTP time in the AH-64D/E. </li><li> Preferred – 5 Years’ experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Education</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Grad uate of a U.S. Military Flight School/Training Course (AH-64D) </li><li> Graduate of a U.S. Military Maintenance Test Pilot Course </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Security Clearance</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance) </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Other Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> U.S. Citizen </li><li> Must possess either an FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. </li><li> Will be required to complete HUET (Dunker) and Helicopter Emergency Egress Devise qualification (if uncurrent in past 4 years). </li><li> Must be able to obtain and maintain a FAA Class II medical certificate. </li><li> Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport. </li><li> Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Kuwait Visa. </li><li> Must provide proof of the following: </li><li> Military Service, (DD Form 214). </li><li> Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks). </li><li> Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate, (AH-64D/E). </li><li> Maintenance Test Pilot Course Certificate. </li><li> (Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Special Note </strong><p><br></p>The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.<p><br></p>Government or customer site-specific requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.<p><br></p><strong><u>Company Policy</u></strong><p><br></p>MAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
