<p>The Catering Business Development Lead oversees new business development in partnership with the Operations Lead including menu stewardship, sales development, and service models that enable business growth. </p><p><br></p><p>The Business Development Lead will be requested to set the organization’s Catering vision, and strategy and deliver on annual, as well as 3-5-10 year goals. In addition, the Catering BD Lead is responsible to be our industry expert on Catering trends, strategic shifts, and SWOT analysis of our business model. We will expect a clear strategy and go-to-market plan by:</p><p>路 Engaging key stakeholders,</p><p>路 Seeking supportive and contrarian points of view,</p><p>路 Assist in developing and giving strategic direction for brand positioning</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>路 Drive channel strategy for existing and future Customers:</p><p>路 Engage with potential customers and generate a healthy pipeline of opportunities. </p><p>路 Develop strategic partnerships, and start marketing campaigns. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Special Projects</strong></p><p>Lead and/or initiate cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives across the business including but not limited to Brand Advertising and Media, IT, Finance, etc.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Partnership Management</strong></p><p>路 Manage and maximize third-party partnerships including third-party tendering and ordering platforms.</p><p>路 Identify and onboard new partners to generate demand and deliver orders.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Field Support</strong></p><p>路 Consult and serve as the point of contact for Operator support involving new business initiatives, partners, and market tests.</p><p>路 Develop and foster meaningful relationships in the field with Operators to understand barriers to Catering growth and initiate solutions to enable continued sales growth.</p><p>路 Ensure immersive Catering training for new strategic initiatives as part of new Operator training as well as ongoing advanced training modules.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Menu & Packaging</strong></p><p>Partner with the menu and packaging team on new Catering initiatives, including new menu items, service offerings, and optimized packaging for Catering occasions</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s Degree, Major: Business, Finance, Marketing</p><p>8+ years of relevant business experience with a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, especially Catering</p><p>Previous experience executing business strategy at a brand-wide level</p><p>Proven track record in sales channel development </p><p>Previous experience successfully leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch solutions</p><p>Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders</p><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p><p>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills</p><p>Self-starter able to work independently or in a group, adapt to shifting priorities, </p><p>Attention to detail and organization skills with operational knowledge</p><p>Innovative thinker with a keen ability to see what could be and tactical skills to bring it to life</p><p>Skilled in service provider contract negotiations</p><p>Experience with P&L accountability for a sales channel/division</p>
