The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>This Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Venturing Professional to be a senior member of the global Strategic Ventures investment team, to be based in Dhahran, which develops investment recommendations and performs portfolio management. Strategic Ventures investment team interacts and works closely with regional investment teams in North America, Europe and China, and interfaces with corporate business units and global investment committees. It also leads fund-of-fund investments and direct investments outside of core geographies.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contributes to the development of the company’s strategic venturing strategy in the digital/industrial sectors.</li> <li>Interacts and collaborates with regional teams to prioritize and evaluate investment opportunities that align with the company’s strategic investing objectives.</li> <li>Develops high-quality investment recommendations for approval by global investment committees.</li> <li>Participates in investment stage-gating discussions and portfolio management decision-making processes.</li> <li>Takes the lead in fund-of-funds investments, working closely with the fund investment specialist for the company’s strategic venturing programs.</li> <li>Leads investment opportunities outside of the core North America and Europe geographies.</li> <li>Provides training and mentoring to junior personnel, supporting their professional development.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Has a minimum of eight years’ experience in venture capital or corporate venture capital, or similar roles, covering the full lifecycle of deal sourcing, execution, investment management, and exits.</li> <li>Holds a Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines, business, and/or finance. A Master’s degree is preferred.</li> <li>Possesses deep knowledge of the industrial/digital technology landscape.</li> <li>Demonstrates a track record of successful venture investments.</li> <li>Has international experience and cultural sensitivity, understanding the dynamics of working in diverse global markets.</li> <li>Experience working with both start-ups and large corporations, bridging the gap between entrepreneurial ecosystems and established organizations.</li></ul>
