The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD). The GMSD is responsible for providing the technical consultations, operational support and troubleshooting, benchmarking, building strategies, business planning, and conducting assessment in the areas of safety and environmental compliance, cyber security, advance process control and optimizations, energy and electrical efficiency, process engineering, reliability and maintenance, operational excellence etc. GMSD is also instrumental to the implementation of digital transformation program of This Company. Your primary role will be to develop and coordinate maintenance programs, procedures and systems throughout the Maintenance activity and appraises the effectiveness of their application. You will plan, schedule and assure completion of assigned maintenance work for a given maintenance area or maintenance function.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develops maintenance processes aligned with TPRM (Total Productive Resource Maintenance) guidelines, including preventive maintenance, job structure, manpower utilization, and construction equipment requirements.</li> <li>Appraises and prepares reports on the effectiveness of maintenance processes.</li> <li>Assists Maintenance organizations in implementing approved programs such as TPRM, providing information, interpretation, conducting training sessions, and analyzing progress reports.</li> <li>Leads a team responsible for field-wide planning, scheduling, and execution of major Turnarounds and Inspections (T&amp;Is).</li> <li>Develops maintenance programs for preventive maintenance, equipment and manpower scheduling, and reviews technical aspects of budgets.</li> <li>Consults and advises operating personnel to determine maintenance requirements and establish priorities.</li> <li>Recommends work that can be assigned to contractor organizations and develops scope of work.</li> <li>Reports to Maintenance Supervisor on workmanship quality, adherence to standards, and recommends improved work methods.</li> <li>Recommends and justifies the use of overtime to meet project completion schedules.</li> <li>Ensures periodic maintenance is performed according to vendor recommendations and This Company procedures, and maintains maintenance logs and records.</li> <li>Reviews Project Proposals to ensure maintenance aspects are considered in the final design.</li> <li>Reviews MIR (Management Information Reports) and investigates causes for variations between Target and Actual performance.</li> <li>Makes recommendations for improving performance based on investigations.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.</li> <li>Has a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the refining industry.</li> <li>Possesses specialized knowledge and practical experience in maintenance methods and practices, particularly in the oil refining business.</li></ul>
