<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our home fragrance division’s commercial and retail strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fragrance industry, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the commercial and retail landscape.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>β’ Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive sales and achieve revenue targets within the home fragrance segment, with a specific focus on commercial and retail channels.</p><p>β’ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and retail distribution agreements, to expand market presence and increase product visibility.</p><p>β’ Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the fragrance industry, including commercial buyers, retailers, distributors, and industry influencers.</p><p>β’ Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies, and utilize this information to shape business development strategies.</p><p>β’ Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company goals and objectives.</p><p>β’ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful product launches, promotions, and effective distribution strategies.</p><p>β’ Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies to drive growth and maximize profitability.</p><p>β’ Stay updated with industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the fragrance sector, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and gain a competitive edge.</p><p>β’ Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>β’ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.</p><p>β’ Proven track record of at least 8 years in business development, sales, or related roles within the fragrance industry, with a strong focus on commercial and retail channels.</p><p>β’ Extensive knowledge of the Home fragrance market, including industry trends, key players, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.</p><p>β’ Demonstrated ability to generate new business leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.</p><ul><li>β’ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders</li></ul>
