Senior Highway Design Engineer
Job Description
<p><strong>Stradaverde</strong> is currently seeking one Senior Highway Design Engineer to join our design team in Riyadh, Saudi. The candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver:</p><ul><li>Highway alignment and associated at-grade junctions and/ or grade separated interchange designs for major highway or urban road projects for concept, preliminary and detailed design;</li><li>Earthworks grading, corridor and alignment design for residential/ mixed use developments for concept, preliminary and detailed design;</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to;</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of design drawings, calculations, scheme evaluations and design reports;</li><li>Coordination with associated disciplines to ensure that interfaces have been considered and accounted for;</li><li>Lead the production of highway designs;</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Transportation Engineering.</li><li>Masters’ Degree in Transport Engineering is a plus</li><li>10 to 12 years of experience in design of road and highway projects.</li><li>Good communication skills and in writing Arabic & English.</li><li>Must be familiar with AASHTO processes, policies and procedures used in the development of plans and specification for highway design projects.</li><li>Proficient in Road Design Software (Civil 3D)</li><li>Proven experience with projects in Saudi Arabia.</li><li>Experience with RCRC Projects is a plus.</li></ul>
