<p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>The Content Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing high-quality content that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, such as content development, marketing, and sales, to ensure the acquired content meets the needs of the organization and its customers. The Content Acquisition Specialist will also establish and maintain relationships with content providers, including authors, publishers, and other content partners, to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for the acquisition of content.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Content Acquisition Strategy:</p><p><strong>A. </strong>Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive content acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.</p><p><strong>B. </strong>Conduct research on the content landscape, including emerging trends, competitive offerings, and market gaps, to identify new opportunities for content acquisition.</p><p>2. Content Acquisition:</p><p><strong>A. </strong>Identify potential content providers, including authors, publishers, and other content partners, through research and networking.</p><p><strong>B. </strong>Assist in negotiating favorable terms and conditions for content acquisition, including pricing, usage rights, and licensing agreements.</p><p><strong>C. </strong>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure acquired content meets the company’s quality standards and specifications.</p><p><strong> D.</strong> Assist in managing the content acquisition pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient onboarding of new content.</p><p>3. Relationship Management:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> Help establish and maintain strong relationships with content providers, acting as a point of contact for inquiries and communications.</p><p><strong>B. </strong>Address any issues or concerns raised by content providers in a timely and professional manner.</p><p>4. Reporting and Analysis:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> Track and report on key performance indicators related to content acquisition, including the number of new content providers, the volume of acquired content, and the success of acquired content in meeting organizational goals.</p><p><strong>B.</strong> Analyze content.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><p>1-Education:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Communications, English, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline.</p><p><br></p><p>2-Experience:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> 1-3 years of experience in content acquisition, content management, or a related role.</p><p><strong>B.</strong> Experience working with authors, publishers, and other content partners is preferred.</p><p><strong>C.</strong> Familiarity with content licensing, copyright laws, and intellectual property rights is a plus.</p><p><br></p><p>3-Skills and Competencies:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> Strong research and analytical skills to identify content opportunities and evaluate potential content partners.</p><p><strong> B.</strong> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate terms and conditions, establish relationships, and address concerns with content providers.</p><p><strong>C.</strong> Project management and organizational skills to manage multiple content acquisition projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient onboarding of new content.</p><p><strong>D.</strong> Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards for acquired content.</p><p><strong>E.</strong> Knowledge of industry trends, emerging content formats, and digital content platforms is preferred.</p><p><strong>F.</strong> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, such as content management systems.</p><p><br></p><p>4-Personal Attributes:</p><p><strong>A.</strong> Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.</p><p><strong>B.</strong> Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><p><strong>C.</strong> Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to take initiative to address challenges.</p><p><strong>D.</strong> A passion for content and a keen understanding of its value in driving business success.</p>
