<p>1<u>) Qualifications</u></p><p>Degree in engineering/Marketing qualified. Be ambassadors for the Company.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><u>3) Project Role</u></p><p>End to End Bid process – Manage project bids which will include receiving invitation to tender documents and arranging for internal pre-bid meetings.</p><p>Develop winning proposals for strategic prospects</p><p>Prepare bottoms up calculations against % fees etc.</p><p>Review conditions of contract and prepare any qualifications to tender.</p><p>Prepare draft fee proposal and review with the Director for final approval and arrange for submission to the client.</p><p>Provide intelligence and market assessment reports updating on regional activities and competitors.</p><p>Develop and maintain in-depth client relations as well as looking at new initiatives to acquire new clients.</p><p>Arrange for internal monthly PSR meetings with Project Managers/ Department Heads to review and discuss progress, contractual issues, payment status, claims, variations on projects, planned expenditures, risks etc.</p><p>Liaise with Directors and Associate Directors for requirements on discipline, special client and specific projects presentations and assist with their preparation and formatting in PowerPoint.</p><p>Introducing and implementing of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes.</p><p>Maintain project information sheets and project information database.</p><p>Managing technical writings in the bid including formulating methodologies etc. with the inputs received from all technical teams</p><p>Negotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subconsultants</p><p>Act as a gate keeper for the business in terms of governance, process, branding etc.</p><p>Guide teams to prepare for client interviews and presentations</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><u>4) Company Role</u></p><p>Coordinate with department heads and obtain manning levels.</p><p>Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process</p><p>Follow up on the tenders submitted and receive feedback from the clients.</p><p>Negotiate and agree with the client on terms of Letter of Award or Consultancy Agreement. This may include such aspects as bonds, collateral warranties, payment terms, liability clauses etc.</p><p>Keep updated schedule of the contracts and their status.</p><p>Liaise with Project Managers/ Department Heads and issue payment requests to clients.</p><p>Keep records of the bonds issued and their status. Advise Financial Controller for collection of expired bonds from banks.</p><p>Oversee and assist a commercial department, formed by quantity surveyors, with any commercial issues that may arise at sites.</p><p>Ensure QA/QC procedures are properly implemented and maintained by the department.</p><p>Attend meetings with clients regularly.</p><p>Prepare conditions of construction contracts for clientโs approval and negotiate them with contractors</p><p>Coordinate with other regional offices to share resources for delivery of large scale projects.
