<p><strong>System Specialist.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Open to Relocate according to company needs.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summary.</strong></p><p>A market leading records management company that applies its experience in records management solutions for the benefit of its clients. Along with offsite facilities, the company has the expertise, technology, and systems to provide a wide range of products and services relating to client records.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Role.</strong></p><p>Systems Specialist are responsible for assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities.</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and monitor all installed systems and Datacenter.</li><li>Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. (Servers)</li><li>Understand the needs and functionality in a service development cycle</li><li>Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.</li><li>Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.</li><li>Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.</li><li>Help L1 and L3 engineers/administrators.</li><li>Determine problems with systems and provide solution to fix the issues.</li><li>Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management, and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of a system.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualification.</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related subject.</li><li>Any technical certification from global organization such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix will be an added advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Special Knowledge.</strong></p><ul><li>Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) – At least 2yrs</li><li>Server Deployment, Management, Maintenance – At least 2yrs</li><li>Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)</li><li>Storage Configuration – At least 2yrs</li><li>Datacenter maintenance – At least 2yrs</li><li>Systems deployment &amp; maintenance – 2Yrs</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Personal Skills.</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Decision-making</li><li>Information security</li><li>Analytical skills</li><li>Knowledge of systems engineering software tools</li><li>Leadership</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Patience</li><li>Attention to detail.</li></ul>
