<strong><u>Job Description<br><br></u></strong>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team!<br><br>In this role you will get to perform <strong>pre and post contract activities,</strong> including evolving procurement strategies, prequalification of bidders, preparation of tender documents, tender review and award, handling multiple contract packages simultaneously, setting up of contract and commercial management system on site, review of the Contractor’s schedule submittals, variations, claims and payment requests, cost management, tracking all contract correspondence, submittals etc. on a large tunneling program in Dubai<br><br><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing<br><br></u></strong>The Contracts Manager will engage in an advisory and support role for all commercial and contractual duties. He reports to the Project Manager and will work collectively to establish and maintain consistent contractual, financial and commercial policies and directions.<br><br>Principal responsibilities of the Contracts Manager shall be as follows:<br><ul><li>Evolving procurement strategies</li><li>Prequalification of bidders</li><li>Preparation of tender documents</li><li>Handling of tender process and award</li><li>Supporting value engineering and risk management process</li><li>Supervise project Quantity Surveyors.</li><li>Preparation of Monthly Financial Report.</li><li>Review Interim and Final measurements.</li><li>Review the Contractor’s and Consultant’s interim and final pay certificates.</li><li>Support for all cost planning and cost control functions</li><li>Review preparation of Change Orders and Variation Orders.</li><li>Evaluating all kind of claims.</li><li>Handle all commercial and contractual correspondence</li><li>Support for all other contractual and commercial on a day-to-day basis including liaising with client and all other stakeholders</li><li>Should be able to handle multiple contract simultaneously.</li><li>.<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying. A Masters Degree in Quantity Surveying or Law is preferred</li><li>Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) aor similar would be a distinct advantage.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of multi-disciplinary experience in large projects, with last few years as a Contract Manager.</li><li>Experience of at least one previous tunneling or deep shaft project will be an added advantage.</li><li>Sound understanding of FIDIC 1999 Conditions of Contract and other versions.</li><li>Sound understanding of CESMM 3 and other international method of measurements.</li><li>Proficient in estimation of works</li><li>Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Autocad and other cost management software.</li><li>Working knowledge of Primavera would be an advantage</li><li>Proven Ability to develop good working relationships with clients and their agents.<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start<br><br></u></strong>Not Applicable/None<br><br>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
