<p>A leading automotive company is looking for Service Advisor that will be responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Operations team. Their duties include greeting customers and helping them determine repairs and relevant costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about their employer’s range of services and contacting customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Listen to customers’ account of issues and symptoms to better understand what the problem is.</li><li>Perform inspections to narrow down what the cause of the problem may be.</li><li>Verify warranty, insurance, or contract coverage for service.</li><li>Calculate and provide customer with an estimate of repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.</li><li>Explain process to clients so they understand what to expect and when their automotive will be repaired.</li><li>Record information gathered from each visit in appropriate database.</li><li>Draft order for repair with all information that has been gathered outlined clearly.</li><li>Work with operations team and other department to provide a positive and expedient resolution for clients.</li><li><br></li></ul><p>Qualifications &amp; Required Skill Set:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>At least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in Automotive Industry</li><li>Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and parts.</li><li>Secondary education in the automotive field or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders.</li><li>Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft office and database tools</li><li>Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills based on experience.</li><li>Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process bills and customer payment.</li><li>Ability to communicate complicated automotive processes to customers who may only have basic automotive knowledge.</li></ul><li></li>
