<p><strong>Job Title: Medical/Clinical Director</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary: </strong></p><p><span>We are a holistic wellness therapy center seeking an inspired and passionate Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Licensed Psychologist to join our team and be our Medical/Clinical Director. The successful candidate will be eager to work with colleagues from various fields, including complimentary and alternative approaches (such as homeopathy, osteopathy, etc.), and to enrich the quality of wellbeing services that we seek to offer to our clients. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys being part of a wellness team dedicated to creating a unique space in Dubai. </span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><p><span>• Lead, inspire and support the team to provide the highest quality of care and to thrive in their areas of expertise. </span></p><p><span>• Collaborate with the Managing Director and the team to create the vision and culture of the center.</span></p><p><span>• Perform the duties of the Clinical/Medical Director outlined by the DHA</span></p><p><span>• Provide high-quality therapy services to the center’s clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.</span></p><p><span>• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients that embrace a holistic approach to wellbeing. </span></p><p><span>• Maintain detailed and accurate client records and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed. </span></p><p><span>• Provide crisis intervention and referrals to fellow healthcare providers as needed. </span></p><p><span>• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of psychology. </span></p><p><span>• Complete Continuing Education Credits or Continuing Professional Development credits and any other DHA requirements to be able to maintain and renew their DHA license in a timely manner.</span></p><p><span>• Participate enthusiastically in clinical team meetings to discuss cases, offer and receive support, share insights, and contribute to the sense of team spirit and collaboration. </span></p><p><span>• Participate enthusiastically in meetings to strengthen the center’s goals of fostering authenticity, holistic health and wellbeing values in general. </span></p><p><span>• Inform the Managing Director of any concerns related to issues in clinical practice, work-flow and community concerns in order to maintain optimum quality care and team culture at the center. </span></p><p><span>• Adhere to ethical standards and follow all regulations related to psychological practice in Dubai, the UAE and the licensing board of their original license (if applicable).</span></p><p><span>• Be familiar with, and follow, the center’s policies and regulations.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong><span> </span></p><p><span>Candidates interested in this exciting opportunity to work with us should have a:</span></p><p><span>• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology or Neuropsychology. </span></p><p><span>• Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License to practice as a Clinical- or Health- or Neuro-Psychologist in Dubai. </span></p><p><span>• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing therapy services. </span></p><p><span>• Interest to learn about/pursue further specialization in the emerging fields of wellbeing modalities such as:</span></p><p><span>- Attachment Therapy</span></p><p><span>- Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)</span></p><p><span>- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)</span></p><p><span>- Internal Family Systems (IFS)</span></p><p><span>- Mindfulness-Based Therapy (such as ACT, DBT, MBSR, etc.)</span></p><p><span>- Narrative Therapy</span></p><p><span>- Psychodynamic Therapy</span></p><p><span>- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy</span></p><p><span>- Somatic Experiencing</span></p><p><span>- Or other mindfulness, somatic or trauma therapy modality</span></p><p><span>• Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet clients’ individual needs. </span></p><p><span>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach. </span></p><p><span>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </span></p><p><span>• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </span></p><p><span>• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and uphold healthy boundaries.</span></p><p><span>If you are a compassionate and experienced DHA licensed Psychologist looking for an opportunity to join the team and work in a unique high-quality holistic boutique center for wellbeing near downtown Dubai, we encourage you to apply for this role.</span></p><p> </p>
