Art and Operations Manager for Prestigious Contemporary Art Collection

<p>We are seeking an experienced and passionate Art and Logistics Manager to oversee Vivium Holding CEO – Elie Khouri’s art collection.&nbsp;</p><p>The candidate will be responsible for the safekeeping, transportation, and installation of the artwork, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the collection.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Manage all aspects of the art collection, including inventory management, conservation, and preservation, and coordinate with artists, galleries, and collectors.</li><li>Oversee the logistics and shipping / transportation of artworks, ensuring that all pieces are transported and installed safely and securely.</li><li>Coordinate with exhibition venues and art fairs to ensure timely and efficient delivery and installation of artwork.</li><li>Manage budgets for logistics and shipping, including negotiation of contracts with vendors and service providers.</li><li>Maintain Art budget record of collection including purchased, owned, loaned, and sold.</li><li>Supervise a team of art handlers and technicians to ensure the highest level of care for the artwork.</li><li>Work closely with the art curator and owner to plan exhibitions, installations, and other events related to the collection.</li><li>Conduct research on new artists and artwork, and assist with the acquisition of new pieces for the collection.</li><li>Maintain detailed records and documentation of the collection, including condition reports, provenance, and insurance.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in art gallery, logistics, or art collection management.</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Proven ability to lead and manage a team of art handlers and technicians.</li><li>Experience negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with artists, collectors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Must be based in Dubai, UAE</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field is preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for contemporary art, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.&nbsp;</p><p>We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.</p>
