Job Description

<p>A 30 year old construction company in Dubai is looking for a Construction &amp; Real Estate Accountant with 2-3 years experience to work on operating cost recovery processing, monthly property financial reporting, audits, and forecasting for a portfolio of properties.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Complete full cycle accounting.</li><li>Maintain the general ledger, including review and preparation of journal entries, accrual of revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.</li><li>Accurately complete required reports including monthly revenue and operating expense budget variance report and balance sheet analysis.</li><li>Co-ordinate and prepare full-year estimates and annual operating budgets with various internal teams.</li><li>Prepare year-end CAM and tax year end invoices and working paper files for external audit.</li><li>Conduct monthly calculation of cash calls and distributions, where required.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONs</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in English</li><li>3+ years of experience in full-cycle (real estate accounting) including final recoveries, year-end audits, exposure to forecasting and budgets, and lease interpretation.</li><li>Degree in Accounting required.</li><li>Highly proficient with MS Excel.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Detail oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines.</li></ul>
