Located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within walking distance to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Art and a short distance to the business district, West Bay.<p><br></p>At Mandarin Oriental, Doha we welcome colleagues with the passion to deliver the best service and exceed our guest’s expectations.<p><br></p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To acquire, develop and manage local corporate business and government accounts according to the set business mix strategy</li><li>Ensures maximum acceptance in RFPs</li><li>To acquire, develop and manage business travel agent accounts (BTA) according to the set business mix strategy</li><li>To constantly monitor the market and the competition and report on threats and opportunities</li><li>To provide accurate and timely reporting on segment and account production and propose tactics and strategies to improve revenue or avoid shortfall</li><li>Implements and executes all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set</li><li>Builds strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively</li><li>Ensures all requests are handled in the time frame set by the company</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment within Sales and Banqueting with proven records of closing sales</li><li>Previous experience working in the GCC</li><li>Must be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications</li><li>Must be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications</li><li>Hotel pre-opening experience desirable</li><li>Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic</li></ul><p><br></p>If you are interested in joining our team apply today!
