Senior Accountant

Job Description

<p>Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior accountant to join our team. The senior accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing financial statements.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, along with several years of experience in accounting or auditing.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><ul><li>Receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling Suppliers invoices</li><li>Control system reports and verifying entries</li><li>Collaborating with internal departments to gather and analyze cost/expense invoices</li><li>Performing account reconciliations, verifying invoices and Processing payments.</li><li>Prepare and control Social Security</li><li>Prepare and control Tax on salaries</li><li>Prepare and control VAT</li><li>Control entries posted by junior accountant (Journal entries, Payments &amp; Receipts…).</li><li>Assist chief accountant with controls.</li><li>Prepare reports (Payables, Receivables…)</li><li>Support month-end and year-end close process</li><li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures</li><li>Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles</li><li>Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Other responsibilities may be attributed to the job description as per the job requirement</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><p> • MS OFFICE- Software applications – decision making skills</p><ul><li>SAP software or ERP (preferred).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years’ of professional accounting experience</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience</li><li>Written &amp; verbal English</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you meet the qualifications &amp; interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume to careers@advancedcarrent.com</p><p><br></p>
