Safety Engineer

Job Description

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having more than 7 years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering with an International Oil &amp; Gas sector design consultancy.</li><li>Candidates having experience of working in Conceptual, FEED, detailed engineering and offshore projects or having safety studies performance experience will have added advantage.</li><li>Experience of working on ADNOC projects will be preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player.</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare HSE and Loss prevention design basis / philosophy</li><li>Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&amp;IDs</li><li>Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment</li><li>Development of Hazardous Area Classification schedule and layouts</li><li>Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts and managing F&amp;G Mapping studies</li><li>Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED, SAFETI etc.</li><li>Knowledgeable of various Safety review Techniques such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL etc and experience of technical scribe for such sessions using tools such as PHA PRO.</li><li>Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids</li></ul><p><br></p>
