<p>Background in an auditing firm in UAE is a plus! Tagalog speaking only, must be able to manage account and bookkeeping for 8 – 10 clients.</p><p>Role, duties and responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Daily accounting (input to company ERP system) of all transactions such as bank/cash payments &amp; receipts, journal vouchers, debit notes, credit notes, etc.;</li><li>Handle office petty cash and petty cash expenses;</li><li>Prepare payment request for payments such as utilities &amp; monthly dues to supplier/vendors;</li><li>Check &amp; record all transaction vouchers for completeness of supporting’s, approvals and maintain files up to date;</li><li>Coordinate internally on all matters relating to accounting matters to ensure smooth operation;</li><li>Coordinate with external parties if needed (Customers, Suppliers, Group Companies, Banks, Insurance Companies, etc.) to ensure smooth flow of information and documents required for accurate and timely accounting;</li><li>Update accounts payable, perform reconciliations and Prepare regular / monthly aging of accounts payable reports;</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports, ageing of receivables and sending email for collection;</li><li>Assist in all month end accounting closing including accounting, reconciling accounts, preparing outstanding expenses and prepaid expenses statements, etc.;</li><li>Assist the senior accountant in preparation of all month end, quarter end and year end reports as required by management;</li><li>Assist senior accountant with the preparation/update monthly results presentation files as required for reporting to management;</li><li>Assist senior accountant in doing all ground for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, etc.;</li><li>Assist senior accountant in maintaining company assets records and periodic physical verification;</li><li>Update accounts receivable and issue invoices;</li><li>Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines;</li><li>Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed;</li><li>Process VAT registrations;</li><li>File and submit VAT returns;</li></ul>
