Responsibilities may vary depending on number and functional focus of Senior Management Team members. The following list is a very comprehensive itemization of functions which would normally be associated with the position of a Manager of Operations at Alreem Health Group (AHG). The actual scope of responsibilities will be determined from time to time by the CEO/COO and/or the board of directors, as the case may be. <br> <br>1. Manages all operational activities and functions through a team of specialist clinical and operational staff. Has particular responsibility for the management of nursing and clinical support and therapy services.<br>2. Manages startup and development of new AHG facilities.<br>3. Collaborates closely with other senior executive team members to provide leadership in planning and management of operations.<br>4. Keeps under review and reports on all aspects of operational performance. Focus will be specifically on execution of plans, measurement and reporting of results and recommendations and execution of operational improvements.<br>5. Ensures all AHG operations produce necessary outcomes to support preeminent quality and safety of patient services and are in compliance with regulations governing medical facilities in UAE and the rules of accrediting bodies (such as CARF, JCI, ACHC) by initiating changes where required and maintaining all necessary facility licensures.<br>6. Responsible for communications and public relations. Confers regularly with all service leaders and key physician and management personnel to ensure that AHG is responsive to the needs of patients and employees in achieving objectives, particularly in the areas of quality of care and efficiency.<br>7. Ensures that facilities support delivery of excellent patient care. Constantly assesses clinical capability, readiness and space needs and makes recommendations to the CEO/COO about future needs and options for fulfilling those needs.<br>8. Assists the CEO/COO in the development of annual operating and capital plans and budgets that support patient service requirements. Accountable for optimizing planned expense and revenue outcomes for AHG facilities. Develops benchmarks of operational and financial performance and constantly seeks improvements.<br>9. Ensures hospital operations, systems and services are organized and delivered to optimize service satisfaction of patients and families. Ensures effective delivery of Support Service activities to support care delivery and actively engages physicians, staff and external customers to gather and assess feedback required for improvement of AHG operations.<br>10. Participates in strategy planning in effective and efficient utilization of personnel, financial, medical, clinical and administrative resources and in clinical program and service line development; specifically working with clinical and senior executive team leadership to develop written strategic plans.<br>11. Conducts other duties as directed by the CEO/COO.<br>12. Flexibility in working hours to meet demanding deadlines required.<br>13. In view of the developing and changing needs and opportunities within AHG, this position may perform other duties by mutual agreement.<br>policies/plans.
