Have the opportunity to see the<br><br>true impact that you’re having in the work you do – every small thing counts.<br><br><strong><u>Job Scope<br><br></u></strong>Focused on representing the voice of Customer Business Development (CBD) across the organization, provide key integration touchpoints around commercial planning and governance and driving the category and channel strategy and associated pricing and promo policies and build<br><br>brands’ equity. You will lead the development and deployment of a channel strategy for New Brands and drive profitable growth. By working cross functionally, you will deliver the trade category toolkit, which outlines a 6 P strategy for each brand.<br><br><strong><u>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Sales and Operating Plan – lead consolidated Customer Development (CD) input and own ‘output’, drive CD business performance.</li><li>Define, deploy and deliver the Commercial Plan across all customers and Channels.</li><li>Drive business performance including gap closure activities and optimization.</li><li>Provide a detail analysis on actual sales vs forecast result and propose the rolling channel or chain action plans to the management.</li><li>Lead the National Category Building Plan and trade review cum promotion evaluation with respective customer.</li><li>Work jointly with brand managers to assess category opportunities and analyse competitor and channel behaviour for annual plan, forecast and identify areas of opportunity.</li><li>Plan, execute and evaluate options jointly with Key Accounts for tailor made promotion to enhance retailers’ commitment and integrating promotion plans with marketing plans.</li><li>Costing, pricing, forecasting, drafting of trade letter and premium sourcing with Brand/Key Account Managers.</li><li>Prepare, analyse and present category review.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Manage Channel And Shopper Insights<br></u></strong><ul><li>Collate best practice in the region that translates shopper insights into actions.</li><li>Conduct periodic survey on distribution, placement, pricing and competitors’ activities via monthly store check or retail audit.</li><li>Collate research on shoppers’ habit studies to provide insights for our various channel implementations to influence location, space, communication and promotions at Point of Purchase.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Supply Chain Management<br></u></strong><ul><li>Responsible for launch volume projection for NPI products.</li><li>Joint responsibility with supply chain to deliver Forecast Accuracy and Slow-Moving Obsolete Stocks KPI.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Commercial Management<br></u></strong><ul><li>Track and maintain channel investments and P&amp;L as well as ensuring investments (non- contractual) remain within plan.</li><li>Measure and review category performance by channel.</li><li>Support customer/category specific category management projects.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Net Revenue Management<br></u></strong><ul><li>Responsible to drive Unilever’s Category Net Revenue realization through defining holistic Net Revenue Strategies and then seeing them through to execution into the Marketing functions and wider commercial business.</li><li>Improve capability for Net Revenue Maximization, including the acquisition and processing of appropriate data, performance monitoring and reviewing, with constant improvement.</li><li>Build Pack-Price strategy recommendations. Performs price analysis – including 9-box matrix, elasticity by brand/pack/channel, competitive positioning, and internal profitability status, to draw up detailed Brand pricing actions.</li><li>Track Category Pack Price (PPP) by channel, to perform pack size profitability/positioning (at sales channel level, to overlay on Brand strategies) to propose Pack Innovation actions where possible.</li><li>Perform analysis to review historical promotional activities to draw up guidelines and recommend allocation of trade promotion budget by channel and category.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Key Stakeholders<br></u></strong><ul><li>Internal: Marketing, Customer Business Development, Customer Service, Brand Marketing, Finance.</li><li>External: Promotional and Sell-out Agencies.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Key Competencies &amp; Skills<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business or Diploma.</li><li>3 or 4+ Years of Experience in key account management experience within FMCG industry.</li><li>Excellent communication and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong bias for action with a growth mindset.</li><li>Strong influencing &amp; selling skills.</li><li>Ability to contribute, influence and work effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization.</li><li>Self-starter, independent thinker, action oriented, and passionate.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Key Requirements (Optional)<br></u></strong><ul><li>Full proficiency of English and Arabic language.<br></li></ul>Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
