<strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>The Regional Head is accountable for setting the overall business development and marketing strategy for the region. The position has ultimate responsibility for the maximization of market penetration and profitable transaction volumes. The position is also accountable for the regional P&amp;L, responsibility for maximizing market penetration and profitable transaction volumes and line management of the regional team.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br></strong><ul><li>Collaborates with the relevant stakeholders to devise, set, and manage the implementation of the regional strategy.</li><li>Ultimate responsibility for regional input to P&amp;L.</li><li>Sets and manages regional budgets. Responsible for the effective recruitment, management and motivation of all regional staff.</li><li>Recruits and takes responsibility for managing the ongoing maintenance of key accounts or super-agents.</li><li>Identifies new business opportunities of mutual benefit to MoneyGram and agents.</li><li>Ensures the resolution of major problems through the management of key personnel and liaison with the relevant teams.</li><li>Ensures legal compliance with all regulations applicable within the region. </li><li>Manages the implications of any legislative changes.</li><li>Attends all senior management meetings and provides input into overall strategic development.</li><li>Reviews market/agent reports and analysis as to any trends/drops in transaction levels.</li><li>Identifies solutions for managing change; developing future strategy.</li><li>Participates in key events within the region to raise product/brand awareness with key business partners.</li><li>Ensures full business policy compliance with local and regional regulations governing MoneyGram’s business guidelines.</li><li>Liaisons with local central banks and other regulatory agencies on issues related to anti money laundering laws and controls.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Primary Location<br><br></strong>Saudi Arabia-01-Riyadh<br><br><strong>Work Locations<br><br></strong>SA_Corp_Tahliyah Street_ PC 11538<br><br><strong>Job<br><br></strong>Sales &amp; Account Management<br><br><strong>Organization<br><br></strong>Sales<br><br>Full-time<br><br><strong>Travel<br><br></strong>Yes, 25 % of the Time<br><br><strong>Job Posting<br><br></strong>May 10, 2023, 3:46:25 AM<br><br><strong>Education <br></strong><ul><li>Degree educated <br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience<br></strong><ul><li>10+ years relevant experience to include proven track record, within network development, marketing/sales management, financial and risk analysis.</li><li>Experience with an international focus. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Skills<br></strong><ul><li>Some experience will ideally have been gained in a blue chip organization.</li><li>Knowledge/experience gained within financial services/money transfer would be highly advantageous.</li><li>Ability to effectively deal with complex and sometimes difficult relationships at the highest level.</li><li>Experience of managing budgets and taking responsibility for P&amp;L.</li><li>Comfortable with the review and analysis of financial information.</li><li>Experience of managing a team – to include recruitment, development and resolution of performance issues.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills – able to influence and persuade in decision making processes both internally and externally at a senior level.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen – able to identify and work with key business partners to maximize business results.</li><li>Excellent presentational skills – able to give a polished presentation in a variety of formats, informal and formal.</li><li>First class interpersonal skills – able to work with individuals at all levels to achieve results.</li><li>Computer literate – able to use Microsoft suite of packages.</li><li>Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.</li><li>Fluency in relevant languages as required for the region.</li></ul>
