<p>Deliver subject matter expertise regarding the contracting process from a financial, legal, and compliance standpoint and monitor contract managers and contract support teams to ensure governance is appropriately carried out.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><span>• </span>Provide overall guidance to Contract Management team in terms of direction, objectives, and how-to’s </p><p>• Establish and maintain effective contract management frameworks (such as Contract Lifecycle Management systems) and structures to manage all organizational supply arrangements </p><p>• Liaise with financial experts and other business areas to assess overall supplier stability and reliability for complex contracts across businesses </p><p>• Demonstrate a sound understanding of financial data and work closely with financial experts and other business (end-users) on complex, high value contracts</p><p>• Represent Contract Management in all related meetings and forums </p><p>• Develop robust negotiation plans with business partners for complex procurement negotiations and coach other procurement staff in how to approach negotiations with respect to contract signing or amendments. If required, lead a multi-disciplined negotiating team in complex procurement negotiations (at a regional or cross business unit level) </p><p>• Manage and adjust complex and strategic contracts to meet the intent of the business need and continue to add value </p><p>• Support the development and implementation of innovative performance and measurement metrics and incentive schemes </p><p>• Provide inputs and guidance to procurement department at large on strategic partnership recommendations </p><p>• Provide guidance on supplier development and improvement initiatives </p><p>• Support in setting up supplier performance metrics and targets to be monitored </p><p>• Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally on strategic payment processes and goods/services management </p><p>• Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, communications, and overall alignment</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><span>• </span>Proven experience in contract management (5-10 years) </p><p>• Solid knowledge of legal and financial requirements pertaining to contracts </p><p>• Strong experience in procurement and supply chain projects </p><p>• Extensive management experience </p><p>• Excellent writing skill </p><p>• Strong computer skills </p><p>• Attention to detail </p><p>• Strong analytical and organization skills </p><p>• Strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities</p><p>Example: Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p>
