Senior Analyst – Strategy & Business Development

Job Description

<p>The Senior Analyst will provide business analysis and administrative support to assist the Strategy &amp; Business Development Division in developing company short, medium, and long-range strategic plans and executing strategic initiatives and business development plans for Marjan, RAK’s Master Developer.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Perform accurate, and reliable market research SWOT analysis, identify trends and new potential opportunities.</p><p>Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.</p><p>Remain fully informed on market trends, other party research, and implement best practices.</p><p>Source and record relevant media, including external reports and publications.</p><p>Support the Department Director and management in decision-making by providing insight into the impact of market trends.</p><p>Collaborate with internal marketing teams to prepare feasibilities and research department marketing materials.</p><p>Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborate with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.</p><p>Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.</p><p>Prepare presentation materials for senior executives speaking engagements.</p><p>Communicate with investors and support on transactions.</p><p>Track project performance (actual vs. budget, etc.).</p><p>Support the Department Director on various issues, projects, initiatives, board meetings, etc.</p><p>Liaise with the different internal departments to produce monthly and quarterly reports and internal presentations.</p><p>Participate in board and various internal meetings, keeping meeting minutes and preparing meeting agendas, etc.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Construction, Economics, or a related field.</p><p>2-5 years of experience in the Business Development field and preferably in real estate master development, investments, or business consulting field.</p><p>Financial modeling, research &amp; analysis skills along with competency in producing high quality PP presentations.</p>
