Position Overview<br>KU is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to work on and support R&D activities for the Autonomous Vehicle Lab (AV Lab) the main task is to integrate various AV Lab technologies in perception, prediction, and planning into a software stack, implemented in ROS and is executable on simulation platforms and on AV Lab physical platforms (e.g., Nissan Leaf, EasyMile). In addition, the researcher will oversee the KU team in RTA self-driving car competition and ensures smooth execution of all activities<br><br>As part of the project, the researcher will have access to state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities at the AVLab and will get an opportunity to work alongside researchers and graduate students from various backgrounds as part of a wider team.<br><br>Position Requirements<br>路 Hands-on technical knowledge in software integration and setting up sensing mobilities and compute units on a vehicle<br>路 Strong knowledge in programming (e.g., C, C++)<br>路 Proficiency in Linux OS and shell scripting<br>路 ROS/ROS2 development and integration<br>路 Adhere to the University’s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly<br>路 Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
