<p><strong>Job purpose</strong></p><p>The Hospitality Network is looking for a talented Operations manager to help with the expanding business operations in the Middle East.</p><p>The role is focused on helping manage the business operations and supporting the top-level management with data on the hospitality projects in the region. You will also work with colleagues across the Marketing and Sales team to help with strategic and operational inputs to help the growing business. The candidate should be comfortable working cross-functionally with different business units.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Some of the Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage various aspects of our business operations, including data analysis, staying up to date with the latest hospitality/hotel projects in The Middle East.</li><li>Create visually appealing presentations and writing marketing literature.</li><li>Handle the entire marketplace.</li><li>Supporting the team and marketing manager by creating content for the company’s social media presence</li><li>Handle event operations including staffing, equipment and set up requirements, vendor coordination, logistics, and on-site management.</li><li>Coordinating and supporting the team in maintaining relationships with the suppliers and buyers</li><li>Keeping inventory of company supplies and equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Having a proven track record in operations management.</li><li>Experience in the events or hospitality industry</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical &amp; Interpersonal Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in MS Excel</li><li>Proficient in MS PowerPoint </li><li>Intermediate in Adobe InDesign &amp; Adobe Premiere Pro. (Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop is a plus)</li><li>Good Analytic skills</li><li>Having excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing </li><li>Ability to develop working relationships with all levels</li><li>Effective organisational and project management skills</li><li>Being excited about working in a dynamic and challenging environment.</li><li>Being a problem-solver, proactive, and able to work independently.</li><li>Encouraging and inspiring teamwork among team members.</li></ul>
