Management Specialist </strong><p><br></p><strong> Division/Section </strong><p><br></p>Strategy Execution<p><br></p><strong> Department </strong><p><br></p><strong> Strategy Execution </strong><p><br></p><strong> Sector </strong><p><br></p><strong> Economic Development Office/ Strategy </strong><p><br></p><strong> Job Family </strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Analyzes, interprets and reports data related to NEOM’s objectives, goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) </li><li> Creates visuals for reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with timely, reliable insights into the performance of NEOM to help track and visualize progress </li><li> Supports and facilitates data mapping, data collection and data use efforts as part of NEOM’s Strategic Progress Tracking efforts </li><li> Develops and implements strategies and tools for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. </li><li> Provides reports based on insights to facilitate strategic decisions at all leadership levels at NEOM. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p>Progress Tracking<p><br></p><ul><li> Designs and leads implementation of the data management system to aid tracking and review of NEOM KPIs at all levels, and in establishing and managing a robust progress tracking process and system, along with core tools and mechanisms such as a progress tracking dashboard. </li><li> Reflects the data mangement context to support the development of indicators for all relevant Board, Strategic, and Operational across NEOM </li><li> Collaborates with the sectors to define the data analytics design for better user experience in progress review, measurement, and impact assessment </li><li> Works closely with other members of the Strategic Progress Team to obtain the latest progress update for inputs in the dashboard, and compiles implementation and performance reports for periodic review </li><li> Initiates and implement NEOM-wide engagements on data management to facilitate data collection, analysis, and reporting, including exploring mechnisims for automation and efficiency. </li><li> Leads the development and implementation of the data architecture and operating model for NEOM’s strategic progress tracking framework </li><li> Refines the data archtecture and operating model based on feedback from key stakeholders, ensuring proactive drive and implementation of new capabilities in data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning </li><li> Designs periodic data analysis and generates big data management to generate key insights on NEOM’s strategic progress </li><li> Tracks and keeps realtime updates on the overall delivery progress across all KPIs as well as on other aspects of data management and data analytics </li></ul><p><br></p>Progress Review, Measurements &amp; Impact Assessments<p><br></p><ul><li> Supports the setting up and management of robust progress reviews, specific measurements, and independent assessments of progress </li><li> Provides ideas and recommendations to improve the existing measurements to address data gaps </li><li> Supports period independent performance review and audits </li></ul><p><br></p>Planning, Budgeting, Reporting<p><br></p><ul><li> Supports planning of strategic events and activities to facilitate implementation of the Strategic Progress Tracking Framework </li><li> Supports development, implementation, tracking and reporting of annual implementation plans and budgets on Strategic Progress tracking </li><li> Supports procurement and tender efforts including developing technical scopes of work and other related documents </li><li> Supports the development of leadership updates and SPT-related planning and budget discussions </li><li> Supports reporting of KPIs, ensuring that data and information reported are validated and accurate using best practice approaches </li><li> Supports development of the program’s Annual Report in collaboration with other members of the SPT team </li></ul><p><br></p>Others<p><br></p><ul><li> Supports ad-hoc requests related to strategic progress tracking and reporting </li><li> Leverages NEOM’s knowledge management system to appropriately store and retrieve all documents and other related resources </li><li> Leads and supports knowledge sharing efforts related to data management and the SPTF </li><li> Supports the development of technical and proceedural knowledge products on NEOM’s SPTF </li><li> Performs any other duties as required by the job function </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge, Skills, and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> At least 5-10 years work experience, with 3-5 years in a sophisticated Business Intelligence &amp; Analytics in reputable organizations. </li><li> Strong experience in troubleshooting data and infrastructure issues </li><li> Experience working on developing and maintaining data management workflows </li><li> Strong experience in creating, publishing and maintenance of dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI </li><li> Strong in analytical solutioning with hands on experience in advanced analytics delivery, through the entire life cycle of analytics to develop recommendations and options for consideration to senior management </li><li> Able to balance complex situations and work under tight deadlines. </li><li> Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and point of view in a concise and compelling manner. Strong willingness to learn.
