<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Hospital Pharmacist shall interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders. Assures the safe and</p><p>appropriate use of drugs for patients.</p><p> Serves as a drug information resource person to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and paramedical staff.</p><p> Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as needed for quality patient care, according to professional standards and practices. Ensures that patients’ pharmaceutical needs are effectively met in accordance with MOPH</p><p>regulations and Pharmacy Policy & Guidelines.</p><p>Actively participates in the Pharmacy’s performance improvement activities, inventory checks and floor</p><p>inspections.</p><p> Performs quality control of medication orders and narcotics orders, monitors patient profiles, participates in medical gases dispensing process, and prepares and dispenses Chemotherapy medications as per approved clinical and safety protocols in the hospital.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy</p><p>- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Master Degree in Clinical or Hospital Pharmacy is preferable</p><p>- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Hospital Pharmacist is preferable</p><p>- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply</p>
