<p><strong><u>About the Role</u></strong></p><p>iCARRY is a Technology driven logistics platform which uses the AI/ML to orchestrate the delivery chain between Senders and Carriers to provide a seamless and exceptional first/last mile delivery experience for customers and end-users. We developed an automated end-to-end delivery process making delivery simple and easy for everyone.</p><p><br></p><p><span>We are born in UK, piloting in Lebanon and working to scale across the MENA region.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>The Accountant will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs</li><li>Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.</li><li>Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.</li><li>Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.</li><li>Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.</li><li>Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.</li><li>Complete end of month close procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certificate (advantageous).</li><li>3 years of accounting work experience (essential).</li><li>Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills.</li><li>Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.</li></ul><p><br></p>
