Technical Lead
Job Description
<p>Our startup is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our team. As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in leading the technical development of our AI-powered EduTech app. The app is built in Flutter and currently uses Firebase as a backend, but we’re planning to upgrade the backend to Python and AWS.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Responsibilities:</em></strong></p><p>• Lead and manage the technical development of our app.</p><p>• Work closely with the product team to define technical requirements and timelines for new features.</p><p>• Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable backend systems in Python and AWS.</p><p>• Develop and maintain Restful APIs to support the frontend and mobile applications.</p><p>• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the development team.</p><p>• Ensure that the app is well-designed, scalable, and maintainable.</p><p>• Perform code reviews and ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.</p><p>• Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks.</p><p>• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Requirements:</em></strong></p><p>• Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Tech Lead or similar leadership role.</p><p><span>• Proven experience in working and scaling a consumer app.</span></p><p>• Strong technical background in software development and architecture, particularly with backend development in Python and AWS.</p><p>• Experience with building Restful APIs and working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.</p><p>• Experience with Flutter and Firebase is a plus.</p><p>• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts is a plus.</p><p>• Excellent leadership and communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage a team, set priorities, and meet deadlines.</p><p>• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</p><p>• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are passionate about technology and education, and you’re excited to join a startup that’s making a difference in the world, then we want to hear from you.
