<p>Job Description:</p><p>Our client is seeking a Senior Carer with nursing background to provide care to residents in Nursing and care homes in the UK.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is based in care homes.</p><p>The roles are based across the UK.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><p>Your day-to-day duties could include:</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide a range of care needs such as advanced dementia, Parkinson’s, etc.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist the residents with all aspects of their personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support the residents with the usage of aids and personal equipment</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage the residents’ medication and completing their medication records</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor vital signs of the residents as required</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide companionship, and support in the residents’ activities</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and lead activities for the residents</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keep the families of the resident up to date about the progress of their relative</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keep daily logs of activities, observations, and direct hours of service; maintain these logs</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in orientation, company training, and meetings with co-workers.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work with a team of carers to ensure the residents’ safety and well-being</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain skills at a current level and undertake training and development as required from time-to-time to develop them further</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Report any problems to the management staff</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Promote best practices in all aspects of the care delivery</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Comply with all the health and safety regulations</p><p> </p><p>Requirements:</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;GNM/ANM/Diploma/BSc/MSc in Nursing or relevant healthcare qualification</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;IELTS for UK VI with an overall score greater than 5 or UK NARIC (only if you have a BSc or higher degree)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum 1 year of Nursing or healthcare work experience</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Genuine interest in caring for people</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;No criminal records</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good references</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Empathy, patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent verbal communication skills</p><p><br></p><p>Salary Package</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Competitive salary</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Please note, we do not work with any agents or intermediaries</p>
