The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Loss Prevention Engineer to join This Company Loss Prevention organization (LP), which provides both day-to-day field coverage to This Company operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all This Company facilities which are located all over the Kingdom. The primary function of a Loss Prevention Engineer is to provide daily support to line organizations and facilities, to help them manage safety properly and also assure compliance to all company safety requirements.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as a single point of contact for assigned proponent organizations</li> <li>Provide ongoing support to proponent organizations to implement This Company Safety Management System and meet safety objectives and expectations</li> <li>Conduct field inspections/reviews of onshore and/or offshore oil/gas facilities, project construction sites, drilling rigs, and support facilities</li> <li>Participate in various safety studies/activities, such as PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys</li> <li>Participate in or lead risk studies or conduct consequence analyses, e.g., toxic gas dispersion modeling</li> <li>Develop and update safety standards, instructions, codes, and formalize them into company documented practices, as required</li> <li>Review project designs for compliance with company and industry safety standards, as required</li> <li>Respond to emergency situations and incidents, either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice</li> <li>Participate in developing and promoting on- and off-job safety educational programs</li> <li>Act as a mentor to other Loss Prevention engineers</li> <li>Participate in contractor prequalification evaluation activities</li> <li>Review proponent and contractor safety submittals for compliance to corporate requirements</li> <li>Deliver Loss Prevention specific training to proponents and contractors, as directed</li> <li>Provide safety support to This Company affiliates, as directed</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline</li> <li>Have 7 years of experience as a safety professional in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries, including a strong track record in delivering results</li> <li>Experience should be comprehensive, covering both occupational and process safety</li> <li>Have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, with peers as well as members of management</li> <li>Possess knowledge of modern safety management systems, processes, and techniques applicable to the oil and gas industry</li> <li>Have knowledge of international fire and safety codes, recommended practices, and specifications</li><br></ul> Β
