The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Root Cause Analysis Specialist to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Team within our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD). GMSD is a multi-disciplinary organization with interface to technical, and in some cases business, support requirements of Domestic Refining & NGL Fractionation Admin Area and This Company Affiliates. Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of Global Manufacturing, operating facilities management, and driving the performances of operating facilities in executing corporate programs and initiatives towards operational excellence and value creation. Your primary role will be to provide technical support to operating facilities, and talent development of new Engineers. You will develop & conduct special studies and analysis for RCA & defect elimination processes.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Determine and implement the correct RCA methodology according to predetermined criteria.</li> <li>Develop and lead the implementation of a detailed RCA process.</li> <li>Facilitate or lead major investigations.</li> <li>Participate in conducting training workshops and provide RCA Practitioner-level training.</li> <li>Facilitate threat identification workshops.</li> <li>Develop databases for defects and threats to retain for wider utilization.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related field.</li> <li>Have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the RCA and/or Defect Elimination discipline.</li> <li>Preferably, be Black-belt Six Sigma and TapRoot certified.</li> <li>Have demonstrated leadership qualities and team-building skills to drive and liaise with people at all levels.</li> <li>In-depth change management and problem-solving techniques are an advantage.</li> <li>Preferred competencies include: analytical, methodical, chronological and open-minded.</li></ul>
